Back to Annapolis

We anchored out by the Naval Academy while the harbor was in the process of transforming itself into a boat show. On the Saturday before the show, which starts on Thursday, I was surprised how few boats were at anchor. Back Creek actually had some room but no moorings, and ample space was available outside Spa Creek, but it is very open to the elements.

We dinked in to find Jay, Diana and Tinkerbelle on Far Niente, who had snagged a mooring in Back Creek some time ago. That evening, they came aboard First Edition to share a bottle of 1995 Napa Silver Oak and a meal. Nice to reconnect. Here Tink models her pink polka dot life jacket.

Friends on Sojourner are anchored in Weems Creek and hopefully we will see them at the show.
